Rwanda, the troubled country
Rwanda is bordered by Tanzania, Democratic Republic Congo, Uganda and Burundi. Agriculture is the principal industry in this former Belgian colony. Known as "the land of a thousand hills," it has a balmy climate with excellent soil. About 90 percent of the population is engaged in (mainly subsistence) agriculture. The major cash crops are sweet potatoes, coffee and tea.
