Man stabbed in ‘racist attack’

An Asian man has been stabbed by a gang of four white teenagers in what the police are treating as a racially motivated attack.

The victim and his friend were outside Barking rail station, east London, on Wednesday night when the group of four began hurling racial abuse at them.

Moments later, the Asian man, in his 30s, was stabbed twice in the torso.

The men fled to Barking Police Station where an ambulance was called.

Police said he was in hospital in a stable condition. No arrests have been made so far.
